Strobe Studios is a 400m2 custom designed studio warehouse located in the thriving arts city of Toowoomba offering private and public working spaces. A new working space from the founders of Australia’s premier film and television special effects makeup academy, The Australian Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup, Strobe Studios is a private office and coworking space created to be a centre for Toowoomba’s flourishing business sector.

In a first for Toowoomba, Strobe Studios brings together a range of businesses across all industries to create a unique working space for businesses to connect, share experiences, skills and ideas and to inspire companies to start, grow and connect. It is a working space designed to inspire entrepreneurial collaboration for professionals in a unique environment.

  • Refreshments: While at Strobe Studios your membership includes use of the shared kitchenette facilities in the breakout area, which gives you access to beverage-making facilities (tea, coffee, Milo, milk, sugar and water only) and a fridge and microwave.
  • Internet access: Unlimited high-speed symmetrical business grade internet access and Wi-Fi 50Mbps/20Mbps.
  • Extra fees and charges: Extra fees may be incurred at times. Please see the fee schedule.

Virtual Office

  • Access hours: 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
  • Hot desk/collaboration spaces: 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday

  • Virtual contact details: You may use our post office box number and street address on your business stationery, advertising and anywhere else you are required to provide business contact details. You are also encouraged to use “Strobe Studios” (c/o) to ensure there is no confusion for delivery companies.
  • Mail and deliveries: Incoming mail is collected for you each morning and is held for your collection in your pigeonhole by 9am each morning. Outgoing mail is posted each afternoon. Our receptionist will also take delivery of packages on your behalf.
  • Choice of boardroom or meeting room usage: The membership provides access to our boardroom or meeting room up to a combined total of 6 hours per month for client meetings, subject to availability.
  • Branding: You are allowed to display your business cards at reception in your allocated space.

Fixed Desk

  • Availability: Only four fixed desks are available.
  • Access hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Hot desk/collaboration spaces: 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Refreshments: While at Strobe Studios your membership includes use of the shared kitchenette facilities in the breakout area, which gives you access to beverage-making facilities (tea, coffee, Milo, milk, sugar and water only) and a fridge and microwave.
  • Internet access: Unlimited high -peed symmetrical business grade internet access and Wi-Fi 50Mbps/20Mbps.
  • Extra fees and charges: Extra fees may be incurred at times. Please see the fee schedule.
  • Virtual contact details: You may use our post office box number and street address on your business stationery, advertising and anywhere else you are required to provide business contact details.   • Offices: Choice of any available private office for the term of your contract. All long-term offices are provided unfurnished to allow you to furnish them to suit your business’ style and needs.  The offices are air conditioned and heated for your comfort. A standard desk is available if required.
  • Contact details: You may use our post office box number and street address on your business stationery, advertising and anywhere else you are required to provide business contact details. You are also encouraged to use “Strobe Studios” (c/o) to ensure there is no confusion for delivery companies.
  • Mail and deliveries: Incoming mail is collected for you each morning and is held for your collection in your pigeonhole by 9am each morning. Outgoing mail is posted each afternoon. Our receptionist will also take delivery of packages on your behalf.
  • Choice of boardroom or meeting room usage: The membership provides access to our boardroom or meeting room up to a combined total of 12 hours per month for client meetings, subject to availability.

  • Internet access: Unlimited high -peed symmetrical business grade internet access and Wi-Fi 50Mbps/20Mbps.  
  • Outgoings, electricity, cleaning and maintenance: Strobe studios’ common areas will be cleaned weekly outside of normal office hours to minimise disruption to you. You are responsible to clean your own office. All outgoings are included in the monthly fee.
  • Parking access: You will be allocated one (1) car parking space.
  • Branding: Your membership allows for your company branding on your door and business cards at reception. Strobe Studios has specific branding and signage guidelines. Please see the protocol sheet for details. Your logo is also on the front door at entry. Please note all signage production costs are not included in the membership. Please refer to fee schedule for more information.
  • Hot desk/collaboration spaces: Unlimited use, subject to availability and Strobe Studio’s fair use policy.
  • Extra fees and charges: Extra fees may be incurred at times. Please see the fee schedule.
  • Customisation: Please note this membership can be customised if, for example, additional meeting room usage above the included 12 hours per month is required for the duration of the membership. Please contact us to discuss available options.

Shared Office & Pro-Rata Office Plans

If you looking for a cost-effective office space to use for just a few days a week, or to collaborate and share an office with others our Shared Private Office or Pro-Rata Private Office plans are perfect for you. Our Pro-Rata Private Office plan is available to businesses that don’t need to be in their office all week. Simply tell us how many days each week you require an office for and you’ll only pay for those days. The Shared Private Office plan is for people and businesses looking to share an office with others. Share the office and share the cost. We can even hook you up with others if you don’t already have someone you want to share with – it’s a perfect way to work with complementary like-minded businesses.

Pro-Rata Private Office

Our private offices are available on a pro-rata basis for up to four days a week. Pro-rata private office memberships also include the Virtual Office Membership and allows hot desking on your non-office days.
